CR800 - Hearing Protector Selector
Where 1:1 Octave Band measurements are available, the Deaf Defier 2 software can calculate the assumed protection from a range of Hearing Protector products. The calculations are made using the frequency data from the measurement, and the resulting information can be printed or exported for later reference. The results can be filtered to remove, for example, products that do not reduce the noise level at the ear to below 85dB(A). Updates for the Deaf Defier 2 program and the Hearing Protector database can be downloaded from the Cirrus Research website.
